Prospect today announced it has been approved by The Boeing Company to machine composite components to the Boeing BAC 5114 specification. Prospect is one of only a few manufacturers to achieve this prestigious qualification.

“This approval marks the completion of a qualification process that included a rigorous evaluation of Prospect’s capabilities by Boeing. We would like to thank Boeing’s BAC 5114 supplier approval team for its collaborative approach,” stated Brandon Wenzlik, Prospect’s CEO. “Together, we developed a well-defined specification that has demonstrated robust, repeatable processes to machine tight tolerance and challenging composite flight components.”

“Achieving this qualification further validates Prospect’s position as a global leader in the composite tooling and critical machining space, and clearly demonstrates our ability to support all Boeing Divisions, its subsidiaries and Tier 1/2 composite suppliers,” said Wade Carpenter, Prospects Vice President of Sales.
